Founded in 1980 by Maria E. Phipps, we have a long tradition of providing information management services to a broad range of clients across Canada. Our initial business provided information brokerage services, the introduction of technology to libraries and needs analysis for library automation systems.

In 1984 we introduced Inmagic® software to Canada. During the last 20 years our focus has been to promote Inmagic® software products across Canada as the ideal tool for information management within any type of organization. We develop systems to assist clients, from diverse industries, manage their information: engineering, law, banking, television media, museums, archives, universities, libraries, records management, government and more.

A comprehensive set of services are provided including needs and systems analysis, creation and customization of Inmagic® databases, including deploying these to the Web, customized training, data conversion and implementation of designed applications.

Inmagic® product suite coupled with our expertise enables us to bring innovative information management solutions to assist your organization move ahead and control the info glut.

Phipps & Associates Inc.'s President is Maria E. Phipps, Hon. BA Psych and Masters in Library Information Science. We also have a team of skilled and talented Associates to assist in the delivery of solutions.
